Imagine if Kill Bill was simply an anime.

Anime episode from the movie "Kill Bill" telling the childhood story of O-Ren Ishii (2003)

Quentin Tarantino is a big anime fan and wanted to include such an episode in

his film. To create the backstory scene for the first of the "vipers," he decided to seek help from Kazuto Nakazawa, who, together with Production I.G., known for their work on "Ghost in the Shell," created the iconic segment for the movie.
